Privacy, without the runaround.

How WalkWag handles information across the website, app, and public booking pages.

Information we collect

We process account and business details supplied by dog walkers; client contact details, collection addresses, dog details, notes, services, and bookings entered by walkers or their clients; customer-balance and payment status information; communications preferences and delivery records; and basic technical and security logs.

How we use it

We use this information to provide and secure WalkWag, operate booking and payment workflows, send requested confirmations and reminders, provide support, and improve reliability. We do not sell personal information.

Dog walkers and their clients

The dog-walking business controls the client and dog information it puts into WalkWag. Walkers should only add information they need and have permission to use, keep it accurate, and respond to their clients’ privacy requests. WalkWag processes that information to provide the service.

Service providers

We use providers for hosting and infrastructure, transactional email and SMS, monitoring and security, and payment processing. Stripe processes payment-card details under its own privacy terms; WalkWag stores payment references and status, not full card numbers.

Retention and security

We retain information while an account is active and as reasonably needed to provide the service, meet legal or accounting obligations, resolve disputes, and protect the service. We use access controls and other safeguards appropriate to the information, while recognising that no online service can promise absolute security.

Your choices and contact

You can unsubscribe from marketing updates and ask to access, correct, or delete information where applicable. Clients should normally contact their dog walker first about information in that walker’s account. You can also contact support@walkwag.app.
